A place beloved of all Servicemen, with a population of approximately 28,000, located on the A303, 14 miles west of Andover and 9 miles north of Salisbury in the county of Wiltshire.

In Amesbury can be found various varieties of military and non-military Windowlicker including Cloudpunchers, Scaley Backs and Drop Shorts. Also, home to such delightful hostelries such as The Bell, The Greyhound, The George, The Kings and the much talked about Stickies "night club".

Within drunken stumbling distance of Durrington, Bulford, Larkhill, Boscombe Down and much of Salisbury Plain including Stonehenge.
