A rather narrow, skinny country on the continent of South America next door to Argentina.

Discovered by Ferdinand Magellan, who crossed the Strait of Magellan on November 1, 1520 ... although technically the Chileans already living there had discovered the country some time earlier.

Famous for producing most of the worlds copper supply, Llama meat, and wine. It also has strong foreign relations with Britain, France, Germany and most notably Spain.

Famous Chileans are:

Bernardo O'Higgins (honestly)
Diego Portales
Salvatore Allende
Ricardo Lagos
Augusto Pinochet
