Human rights today is a made up term covering absolutely anything that someone thinks they deserve usually without having earned it.

They are entitled to it ... because!

Originally a law intended to protect people from being tortured, treated as sub-human, abused or discriminated against.

It, like so many other things got the EU treatment and now means that almost anything that stops anyone doing anything is likely to be a breach of someones 'human rights' (at least in some whynging lawyers mind and bank balance ie Cherie Blair). Examples of crap human rights issues (please add more)

  • shipping illegal immigrants back home (immigrants human rights breached)
  • stopping smokers smoking in public places (smokers human rights breached)
  • impounding a chav's non-taxed, non-insured, non-moted car (guess whose rights breached)
