A Regimental Dinner is similar to a Mess Ball but without the other half. A chance to dig out the ol' drinking pyjamas and imbibe a snifter or two of your favourite tipple.
Essentially a bonding session for all the members of the Mess and an opportunity for the Badge to get the feel of the unit - and you to get some business done when in the company of your peers.
Regimental Dinners are usually Stag affairs where the Badge issues a three line whip known as Orders to Attend. Opportunities to acquire Extra Duties by the shed load abound.
