De rigeur down the bop

Ridiculous nylon running trousers that makes anyone's arse look fat. Frequently worn by army wives to shop in the NAAFI thus highlighting their extremely ample curves while walking around the patch with pad brats in tow. Can also be worn to complement white stilettoes and a Berghaus fleece.

Also worn by overweight WRACs and old school, old sweat SNCOs - usually accompanied by a Norgie top and with no undercrackers on so the wedding tackle also does a five mile run! Ron Hill's are ideally complemented by a Barbour jacket worn with old style dessies for that retro off duty ally look.
