The Bosche
Refering to Germans
From the French tête de boche. If you follow the origins of the word enough then you get to caboche = head. The root of caboche in the old French province of Picardy is ultimately the Latin word caput or "head". Our English word cabbage has the same origin, the compact head of leaves being a perfect "caboche".
