208 (3rd West Lancashire) Battery RA(V)
Based at Aigburth Road TAC in the fine Northern city of Liverpool, 208 are the senior of the three batteries of 103 Regt RA(V). The major social event in the 208 calendar is the St Barbara's Day dinner, when the old, bold and sociable come out to play.
In WW1, soldiers of forerunner units of 208 Battery gained two VCs. Of note is A (Liverpool Irish) Troop who have the unique dress distinction of the Irish caubeen within the corps, worn with a maroon and light blue hackle.
