A TA Battalion of the Royal Anglian Regiment, disbanded in 1971


Is there anyone out there that served with the 4th Batt in 1967 > 1971? I was looking to meet old mates from then. Titch

The 4th Bn was not a TA Bn, it was in fact the Royal Leicestershire Regiment which joined with the 3 battalions of the East Anglian Regiment to form the Royal Anglian Regiment. The 4th Bn was reduced to Company strength in 1971 and was known as 'Tiger Company' taking the nickname of the Royal Leicestershire Regiment.Tiger Coy was disbanded in 1975.
