7th Armoured Brigade
Formed in 1945 the 7th Armoured Brigade is an armoured formation of the British Army commonly known as the "Desert Rats". The brigade forms part of the 1st Armoured Division
The brigade currently consists of the following elements:

- The Royal Scots Dragoon Guards
- 1st Battalion The Royal Regiment of Fusiliers
- 4th Battalion The Royal Regiment of Scotland (The Highlanders)
- 3rd Regiment Royal Horse Artillery
- 32nd Regiment The Royal Engineers
- 9th/12th Royal Lancers (Prince of Wales's)
- 111 Pro Coy Royal Military Police (RMP)
- 2nd Battalion REME
- 42 & 47 Army Education Centres (ETS)
- (A) 29 CS MED Sqn
