Acronym Overload
AO - Acronym Overload
Medical condition caused by over exposure to TLAs (Three Letter Acronyms) or MLAs (Multi Letter Acronyms). The patient will invariably be incomprehensible to anyone outside a service environment. e.g. 'Can I have a MPLC (Man-Portable Liquid Container) of PAF (Potable Alcoholic Fluid) please?' whilst stood at the bar is indicative of an individual suffering from WCS (Worst Case Scenario) AO, i.e. actually making acronyms up ILNC (In Lieu of Normal Conversation).
