Ever flown into some remote desolate airfield and wonder how it got there? Well, that's the job of the Air Support units of the Royal Engineers. (thought it had something to do with the runway fairies!)
Highly trained in crater filling and kicking tin, Air Support units travel the world in support of the RAF. It is a thankless and often difficult task, due to no one understanding just what you are capable of. Or caring for that matter......
It does have its upsides tho....Lots of travel and RAF chicks.
