Cookhouse

Place were food is served to servicemen below the rank of SNCO. It is the lair of the Slop Jockey and was (prior to the days of farmed out civvy contracts) the only place in the known universe where one could find a half-decent Egg Banjo and get a duty supper when the chinky was shut - even if this did entail going back to the block to put your uniform on and pretend to be sober.

Cookhouses are invariably warm. This is a cnut in the summer time - especially if you've been dicked for Extra Duties, but is a positive boon in the winter - especially when there's no other source of heating... like the boilers being knackered in the block... or you've been dicked for jankers.
