MLA standing for Dismounted Close Combat Training Range

As a Colour Sergeant acting as a range master once imparted to me: "This range was designed with shooting in mind..."

A rather expensive piece of kit to teach young soldiers how to shoot people without too much expenditure (although they could have saved a fortune by using compressed air and a compressor, rather than cylinders of CO2) from the MOD, such as a Rifle or ammunition.

What it all amounts to, is in fact the world's biggest House of the Dead machine in use with HM's Armed Forces.

(Points to note- For some reason in the simulation the only targets available other than BERT are American soldiers. Perhaps an insight into a future change in foreign policy...Hmm?
