Fovant Badges
The Fovant Badges are a set of Regimental badges cut into a hill near Fovant in Wiltshire. They were made by troops passing through the area during the First World War on their way to France. Many of the original badges are no longer visible, but the following remain (from left to right):
- Royal Wiltshire Regiment
- Young Men's Christian Association
- 6th (City of London) Battalion, the London Regiment (Rifles)
- Australian Commonwealth Military Forces
- Royal Corps of Signals
- Wiltshire Regiment
- London Rifle Brigade
- Post Office Rifles
- Devonshire Regiment
