Korean Knife Fighting Course
A well known scam in which an unwary Crow is persuaded that the British Army has one place available on a knife-fighting course in Seoul and is looking for a volunteer. The course is invariably due to take place during Christmas or Easter leave but is so fantastic that it's worth missing leave for. The unhappy victim thus finds himself appearing - with full kit - at the Guardroom of a virtually deserted barracks on Good Friday or Christmas Eve, and telling a bemused Guard Commander that he is waiting for transport for the Korean Knife Fighting Course. By the time that the Guard Commander has established that there is no such thing, it is too late for the Crow to get home for the holiday festivities.
