Whittington Barracks will remain MoD property under current plans. After a redevelopment to reconfigure the accommodation, the site is set to become home to the Royal Centre for Defence Medicine .
Training at the current Defence Medical Services Training Centre (DMSTC) Keogh Barracks will be moved to Lichfield commencing in 2010.
