Woefully inadequate anti-tank system developed when Pontius was a pilot. Practically useless, it was mounted on stripped-down (and re-branded) Humber Pigs - which carried a measly two. Yeah, that's really gonna work isn't it? It would've been easier (and far cheaper) to have two PIAT armed paras on a bicycle. What's amazing about Malkara, it that it was:
- Hideously expensive to develop.
- Lasted as long as it did.
- And that someone actually endorsed it in the first place!
On the other hand....
It did have an 80lb HESH warhead that would destroy almost anything it hit! That aside, apparantly the Practice warhead would take the turret off a Conquerer tank!
The Practice missile was designed to climb vertically at the end of the flight profile and deploy a parachute for recovery! - Very pretty!
