Cloudy, soup-like concoction with chunks of offal and potato floating in it. Produced by micro breweries up and down this sceptic isle to slake the thirst of the legions of university lecturers, bell ringers and folky-types who worship the stuff.

Ales such as Scruttock's Badger's Arse and Belmer's Auld Mong will have you mlaaaring with the best of the bearded ones. Lethal to Scots (who actually have some taste and wouldn't touch the stuff... unless it was free!).
