SEATO

South East Asia Treaty Organisation. (SEATO), created by the Southeast Asia Collective Defense Treaty or the Manila Pact, was an international organization for defence agreement established on 8 September, 1954. It was created to oppose further Communist uprising in Southeast Asia. The organization's headquarters was located in Bangkok, Thailand. The treaty was disbanded on June 30, 1977.

It was also the other side of NATO, Just on the other side of the world.
