A town in Essex, on the northern side of the Thames. Great views out over the Thames Estuary and several of the countries finest industrial facilites.
Used to be one of the summer holiday locations in the 1960's, alongside Blackpool, but has suffered a decline in the last few decades. In military terms is known for its proximity to Shoeburyness Artillery Barracks, the Pig's Bay test ranges, and the existence of the Foresters Inn.
