UBACS

A UBACS shirt is one of the latest bits of kit developed for use in Afghanistan. UBACS stands for Under Body Armour Combat Shirt.

The main body of the desert issue shirt is made of a brown self wicking material which zips up to the neck. The arms are made of desert DPM material with padding on the forearm, upper arm and shoulders.

Located on the upper arms are pockets large enough for a few pieces of admin paperwork or maps however they are not the size of conventional map pockets. The pockets are however covered in the soft velcro bit for the attachment of rank patches, blood patches ... heck anything with velco stuck to it.

Desert Pat NSN: 8415-99-219-7229

Also available in Woodland DPM, black and other silly yank digital patterns. Viper have already decided to do a copy.
