UNBENAF - Unnecessary Breast Examination. Nothing Abnormal Found. One of many abbreviations found on patients' notes after having been examined by a bored MO. This is not a UN mission, though it would look great on a medal application.

Other examples include:

  • MABF - Mother's a Boot Face. To avoid wasting of colleague's time in waiting to meet the mother of a young patient who seems to come from a good gene pool.
  • NFK - Normal for Kidderminster. Normally would be regarded as speshull, but unremarkable in the West Midlands.
  • FLK - Funny Looking Kid.
